Our MPAT Program, nationally recognized and highly acclaimed, is a structured, 8-month, virtual classroom practicum that meets the AQB experience requirements for obtaining a Licensed Appraiser Credential.
The LAC Appraiser Pathway is an intensive online training program powered by the MPAT (MS Practical Appraiser Training) curriculum — the first practicum of its kind, recognized across multiple licensing jurisdictions. Delivered by Legacy Advisors and Consulting, this program pairs real-world appraisal experience with expert instruction to prepare you for your National License Exam.

The MPAT Program is the premier, first-in-the-nation practicum pathway to licensure for aspiring appraisers, with participants achieving a National Licensing Examination pass rate exceeding 92%.
1,000 experience hours — meets AQB minimum hour requirements to sit for the National License Exam in your state.

Before beginning the LAC Appraiser Pathway, all enrolled students must complete 83 hours of Qualifying Education (not included in program tuition):

The LAC Appraiser Pathway is a premium, individualized training experience. Tuition is structured to reflect the program length, personalized instruction, and class size.

Here is the complete roadmap from where you are today to a fully licensed residential appraiser:
Before the program begins, complete required coursework: Basic Appraisal Principles (30 hrs), Basic Appraisal Procedures (30 hrs), USPAP (15 hrs), Supervisor/Trainee (4 hrs), and Valuation Bias & Fair Housing (8 hrs). Cost: ~$1,100.
30+ hrs/week of virtual sessions, on-site property visits, and live appraisal work. You'll accumulate all 1,000 required experience hours under expert supervision using the MPAT curriculum.
After the program, complete 4 additional courses: Residential Market Analysis & Highest and Best Use; Residential Appraiser Site Valuation & Cost Approach; Residential Sales Comparison & Income Approaches; Residential Report Writing & Case Studies. Cost: ~$1,100.
With 1,000 experience hours and all qualifying education complete, you're eligible to apply to your state licensing jurisdiction and sit for the National Licensing Exam. MPAT graduates have outstanding pass rates nationwide.
